Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, I obtained my B.A. in Environmental Studies in 2013 from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. As an undergraduate student at Temple, I discovered my interest in GIS and pursued it by taking courses in GIS applications and remote sensing.
After graduating from Temple, I had the pleasure of working several fascinating jobs in data collection and GIS applications with Pittsburgh’s Community Technical Assistance Center (CTAC) and the Three Rivers Workforce Investment Board (now called Partner4Work).
In 2015, I moved to Orlando, Florida where I work as a Senior GIS Analyst for the City of Alatmonte Springs. In this position, I have had the opportunity to learn and work in many facets of maintaining a GIS in an enterprise environment. In 2017, I earned my GIS Professional Certification (GISP), and I am proud to be an active member of the Central Florida GIS community.
